Benjamin has been a photographer since 2016, who specializes in candid shots that capture the essence of black life. He has a passion for creating abstract images that, when zoomed out, reveal their everyday nature. In addition to this, Benjamin enjoys photographing the unique architecture of cities he’s visited. His love for art began at a young age, and his passion for photography has always been present, starting with a simple Kodak camera. As both a photographer and model, Benjamin balances life in front of and behind the lens. He approaches his art with a philosophy of stripping away anything that doesn’t add to the story. For him, black and white photography perfectly embodies this principle. This showcase is a reflection of his belief in honoring the core idea and removing the unnecessary.
